Tony Gee

Tony Gee is a leading cyber security keynote speaker known for his engaging, story-driven talks on cyber threat intelligence, ransomware, and the realities of the criminal underworld. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Tony blends deep technical knowledge with humour and clarity, helping audiences understand how attackers operate and how defenders can respond. His talks are as entertaining as they are insightful, whether he’s explaining how he once geolocated Piero Ferrari’s yacht in front of its owner or breaking down the anatomy of a ransomware attack.

Tony began his career in information security consulting, working across financial institutions where he developed expertise in threat and vulnerability management. He went on to become an Information Security Analyst at Cubic, where he focused on PCI DSS compliance and critical infrastructure. His curiosity for understanding how systems fail led him into penetration testing and red-team operations, where he excelled in simulating real-world attacks. Over the next decade, Tony built a reputation as a trusted voice in the industry, spending ten years as Senior Consultant at Pen Test Partners before joining 3B Data Security as Principal Cyber Security Consultant. There, he continues to advance service lines in attack surface and threat assessment, executive exposure analysis and intelligence-led defence.

Throughout his career, Tony has become one of the most recognisable figures on the cyber conference circuit. He has delivered keynotes and live demonstrations at major global events including ISACA Europe, ISC², BSides, 44Con, PCI Community Events and the European Central Bank. He has been repeatedly voted among the top three speakers at ISACA and PCI conferences and was personally thanked by U.S. Congressman Pat Meehan after speaking at the U.S. Capitol.
