Pamela Gupta

Pamela Gupta is a globally recognised authority in cybersecurity and AI governance, known for helping organisations build secure, trustworthy and high performing technology ecosystems. As the founder of Trusted AI, she works at the forefront of designing global frameworks that enable successful and responsible AI implementation. Widely ranked as a pioneer in AI governance, Pamela developed the AI TIPS Framework to turn emerging AI standards into practical systems that deliver measurable business outcomes. Her work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, risk management and responsible innovation, making her one of the most sought after voices on secure digital transformation.

Pamela began her career as a security architect, developing deep technical expertise across complex enterprise environments. Through roles spanning the mid 1990s to the early 2000s, she built a strong foundation in information security strategy and infrastructure protection. She later stepped into a senior leadership position as Director of Information Security Risk for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where she provided guidance on one of the company’s largest technology refresh programmes. She then moved into the role of Chief Information Officer at Higher One, further broadening her experience in executive level cyber risk, governance and large scale technology operations before founding Trusted AI and launching the Northeast Annual Cybersecurity Summit.

Alongside her executive career, Pamela has founded and supported a number of influential industry initiatives and organisations focused on strengthening global cybersecurity and AI governance. She established Advancing Trust in AI and has contributed to leadership bodies including the Global CISO Leadership Foundation and the Cyber Future Foundation. Her advisory work has extended to organisations such as Quinnipiac University, AIEthics.World, AI 2030 and the United States Department of Defence. She has also held prominent industry roles, including Smart Security Privacy Group Co-Chair for GCTC SC3 Smart Cities and Chair for IEEE AI Cybersecurity.
