Jack Shaw

Jack Shaw is an internationally respected AI Transformation Advisor, cyber security keynote speaker and author of ‘The AI Imperative Series’, who helps senior leaders understand the security, governance and strategic implications of intelligent technologies. With more than four decades of experience across artificial intelligence, digital transformation and enterprise systems, Jack equips organisations to adopt innovation without overlooking cyber threats, regulatory exposure or executive accountability. He has delivered more than 1,000 keynote presentations across 26 countries, working with major organisations including IBM, Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, GE, Siemens, Bosch, Caterpillar, Oracle and 3M. Jack graduated from Yale University with a degree in Business Administration before completing an MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, specialising in finance and marketing. His early career included serving as Director of Product Marketing at Management Science America, where he managed the design and marketing strategy for supply chain management systems and contributed to the development of an early EDI-enabled online procurement platform. In 1985, Jack founded eCommerce Strategies, serving as President for almost two decades and advising organisations on digital commerce, technology strategy and business process transformation. He later became Vice President of Commercial Systems at Applied Systems Intelligence, introducing advanced cognitive technology to commercial markets.

Across his career, Jack has developed extensive expertise in artificial intelligence, cyber security, blockchain, the Internet of Things and connected enterprise systems. He has also held senior positions including Vice President at Selectica, President of Breakthrough Business Technologies and Co-Founder of Blockchain Executive. Jack is the author of ‘Manufacturing’s AI Imperative: An Executive Mandate’, the first volume in ‘The AI Imperative Series’, which gives executives a framework for making responsible and commercially effective AI decisions.
