Erica Farmer is a leading voice in artificial intelligence, future skills and workforce transformation, with more than 25 years of experience across learning, talent and leadership development. As the Co-Founder of Quantum Rise Talent Group, Founder of EricaFarmer.ai and host of the ‘AI for the Average Joe’ podcast, Erica is widely hired as a speaker for her ability to demystify AI and help organisations build confidence and capability for the future of work. Erica’s career began in learning and development, where she built strong foundations across training, client relationship management and workforce education. She held progressive roles at organisations including BPA Quality UK, Working Links and LV=, before moving into senior leadership positions focused on apprenticeships, skills and talent strategy. She later became Apprenticeship Lead and Trailblazer Chair at Centrica, followed by senior learning and talent roles at The Mission Group and Virgin Care. In 2019, she founded her first business, Welcome Two Learning Ltd, before partnering with Quantum Rise to co-found Quantum Rise Talent Group, combining her commercial experience with a growing focus on future skills.
In recent years, Erica has become increasingly recognised for her work at the intersection of AI and people development. She created EricaFarmer.ai in 2022 to support organisations and individuals in understanding and adopting AI responsibly. That same year, she became a LinkedIn Learning Instructor and course author, extending her reach globally. She has authored her first book, ‘AI for People Professionals’, and was named a finalist at the 2025 Speaker Awards in the category of Best AI and Future Tech Speaker. Alongside this, she serves as an advisory board member for the AI in Work and Skills Forum and has delivered talks for organisations including LinkedIn, the NHS, Biffa and SLCC.
