Eileen Vidrine is one of the foremost voices on cybersecurity, data leadership and emerging technologies, bringing more than 35 years of experience safeguarding some of the most critical organisations in the United States. Having held senior leadership positions across defence, intelligence, air and space, she has spent her career helping organisations strengthen security, manage risk and embrace innovation in an increasingly digital world. Today, as the Founder and CEO of Vidrine Vantage, Eileen advises government and industry leaders on cybersecurity strategy, AI integration and data driven transformation, making her a highly sought after cybersecurity speaker for organisations navigating evolving cyber threats.

Eileen’s career began in the US Army as a Transportation and Acquisition Officer before she transitioned into the defence intelligence community. She developed expertise in learning technologies and workforce development through leadership positions across Northern Virginia and Washington DC, before becoming Director of the Centre of Educational Technologies at the National Defence Intelligence College. Her career accelerated through the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where she held several influential posts including Senior Strategist, Enterprise Learning Technologies Programme Manager, Chief of Staff and Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Human Capital. She later became the DoD IC Enterprise Architect for the United States Department of Defence before serving as Chief Data Officer for the United States Department of the Air Force. In this role, she was responsible for advancing secure enterprise data capabilities and AI strategy across the US Air and Space Forces, ensuring technology innovation was underpinned by robust governance and resilience. She also served as Senior Strategic Advisor for Data to the Federal CIO before establishing Vidrine Vantage.

Beyond her executive leadership, Eileen continues to shape the future of cybersecurity and AI through numerous advisory appointments. She has served organisations including FedLearn, Concept Plus, the Mark Cuban Foundation and Planetary Systems AI, while her current positions include Advisory Board Member for AI Squared, Executive Coach at Carnegie Mellon University and member of the inaugural Advisory Board for the National Artificial Intelligence Association. Her expertise has earned widespread recognition, including AIM AI 100 Visionary Leader, CDO Magazine’s Executive of the Year and DataIQ’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She is also a respected thought leader whose insights have been featured by Defence Scoop and GovCIO Media and Research.
