A pioneer of research strategy for online safety, Chloe Colliver has enjoyed great success at the forefront of the fight for cyber security. Currently the Principal of Ofcom, the UK’s communication regulator, Chloe was formerly the Head of Digital Policy and Strategy for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, spearheading policies on hate speech, terrorist content and extremism. In 2010, Chloe began her career as an Intern at The Wiener Library for the Study of the Holocaust & Genocide. She later completed work experience at the United Nations, and was an Intern for Dawson Cornell Solicitors in 2013. In 2015, Chloe became a Researcher and Writer for European Horizons, before joining the Institute for Strategic Dialogue as a Digital and Research Associate. Working her way through the ranks, Chloe was later appointed as the Project Coordinator and Project Manager for the ISD, roles in which she was responsible for digital research and policies related to terrorist content, hate speech and extremism. Commended for her commitment to making the internet a safer space, Chloe was later appointed as the Senior Research Manager and the Head of Digital Policy and Strategy for the ISD.

Building a credible expertise in digital research, Chloe has worked with a whole host of tech companies, CSO and governments across the globe, informing them on how to keep their information safe from the prying eyes of cybercriminals. Today, Chloe is working as the Principal of Ofcom, overseeing the regulation of media content across the UK. During her work with the ISD, Chloe wrote a number of publications, such as the titles of The 101 of Disinformation Detection, Developing a Civil Society Response to Online Manipulation and Hoodwinked: Coordinated Inauthentic Behaviour on Facebook.

Recipient of the Mellon Fellowship to Yale University, Chloe has been revered for her knowledge and talent throughout her career. With a decorated history in cyber security and disinformation, Chloe is now highly sought after as a cyber security speaker for corporate events.
