Brett Schklar is an AI adoption futurist, international keynote speaker and CEO of AI-First Leadership, best known for helping senior leaders move beyond hype to practical, scalable AI adoption. Brett’s career began in senior marketing and product leadership roles within the technology and security sector. After rising through marketing leadership at AT&T, where he earned the Vice President’s Award for Excellence, he joined IBM Internet Security Systems as Director of Offer Management, driving rapid growth and gaining market leadership recognition from leading industry analysts. He went on to serve as Vice President of Product and Marketing at Q1 Labs, where he helped secure more than $18 million in funding and position the company as a recognised market leader, before becoming Vice President of Marketing at Vericept Corporation, delivering exceptional return on investment and substantial pipeline growth.
Building on this success, Brett founded Market Creation Group, serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Partner. Under his leadership, the firm grew to more than 230 clients, supported 23 successful client exits and was twice ranked among the fastest growing private companies in Denver. Alongside his commercial work, he has held influential advisory and academic roles, including Vice Chairman of SoftwareColorado and Adjunct Professor of MBA Marketing at the University of Denver. In recent years, he has become a highly sought after speaker on AI adoption, delivering top-rated keynote sessions for executive networks and speaking at major AI and innovation events across the US and Europe.

“Loved the 12 principles for AI leadership as a ‘game plan’ or blueprint. Really liked how he broke the content down into 12 actionable steps that can be easily taken and implemented. Was very applicable to where LTI is currently at with AI and I found this to be very informative and useful. The speaker noted that this was his first delivery of this presentation, which was helpful to know, and I think that with repetition, it could be more polished. I found the focus on credentials to be of much less benefit than the real-world examples as those helped provide a greater understanding of how to get started with AI. This is a great presentation on how a business can leverage AI to improve itself.”
” … I like the material and content, it’s very applicable to our businesses. Speaker was able to answer all questions and collaborate nicely with us on our tangents. He then brought it back to the content and was able to explain and answer almost all of questions. Those not answered clearly, he provided practical guidance to figure it out.
