Andrew Parker

The Right Honourable Lord Parker of Minsmere has had an illustrious career, particularly within the realm of national security and royal service. His career began with the Security Service (MI5), where he played a pivotal role in safeguarding the United Kingdom from various threats. After joining MI5, Andrew swiftly climbed the ranks due to his keen intelligence and strategic acumen. By 2005, he was leading the Security Service’s response to significant national security threats, including the London bombings on July 7th, 2005 and the 2006 Transatlantic Aircraft Plot. In 2007, Andrew was appointed Deputy Director General of MI5, and by 2013, he ascended to the role of Director General.
