Moona’s career began early, attending international security conferences at just sixteen, before going on to graduate cum laude from the University of Amsterdam, where her award-winning thesis was published. She went on to hold senior roles at major global institutions including Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, UBS, Nomura, and ABN Amro, leading high-impact cyber and risk programmes across EMEA. She later became Executive Director EMEA at FS-ISAC, where she built intelligence-sharing networks connecting financial institutions, governments, and law enforcement across 75 countries, protecting assets valued at over $100 trillion.
Today, Moona is widely recognised for her thought leadership in emerging cyber threats. She is the author of the ‘Practical Post-Quantum Transition Framework’, a widely respected model helping organisations prepare for quantum disruption without unnecessary complexity. Her insights have been featured in InfoSecurity Magazine, and she continues to shape industry thinking through research with the Information Security Forum and advisory roles across the sector. In 2026, she was named ‘Most Inspiring Women in Cyber’, recognising both her industry impact and her work championing diversity in technology.
