Yemurai Rabvukwa is a Senior Cybersecurity Associate, keynote speaker, and careers strategist on a mission to reimagine what success looks like in tech. Armed with a First-Class Chemistry degree from the University of Liverpool, she took an unconventional route into cybersecurity – an experience that now powers her commitment to bridging the digital skills gap and advocating for inclusive career pathways. With a strong foundation in web application and network security, Yemurai has held pivotal roles in high-stakes environments, including as a WAF Engineer at Lloyds Banking Group and currently as a DDoS Analyst in investment banking. Her technical expertise includes hands-on experience with Akamai, F5, and Cloudflare, specialising in defending against OWASP Top 10 threats, bots, and DDoS attacks. She is certified in Information Security Management Principles (BCS), Akamai Web Application & API Protection, and is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Her sharp incident response skills and deep understanding of cyber risk management make her a trusted voice in the security field.

Recognised for her influence and advocacy, Yemurai is a recipient of the TechWomen100 Award and served as a 2024 judge for The Diana Award, celebrating young changemakers across the UK. Beyond the technical, she’s a passionate communicator who has amassed a following of over 76,000 across social platforms, with content that’s been viewed more than 1.1 million times. Her viral video breaking down a government cyber traineeship programme received over 370,000 views, inspiring thousands to explore careers in cybersecurity.
