Purvi’s career began with a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bath, where she built the systems thinking that underpins her leadership today. She moved into public sector cyber roles early in her career, leading teams across major government departments, including the Home Office and HMRC, focusing on the protection of national infrastructure and strengthening cyber resilience at scale. Working at the intersection of policy, engineering and threat intelligence, she developed a deep expertise in aligning technical security controls with strategic risk priorities, regulatory frameworks and enterprise decision-making.
Alongside her technical and leadership credentials, Purvi serves as a passionate advocate for inclusive security leadership. She champions Women in Cyber Security and Neurodiversity in Cyber initiatives, and sits on the advisory board for Cyber London, where she contributes to shaping the future cyber ecosystem. Her widely recognised TEDx talk, ‘How Neurodiversity Can Strengthen Cyber Security’, highlighted the operational advantage of cognitive diversity in building resilient security teams.
