Jonathon Zittrain is a highly respected cyber security expert, best known for his position as a professor of computer science at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Science. His early career consisted of a position on the US Department of Justice and Senate Select Committee of Intelligence before serving many years as a Chief Administrator, roles which allowed him to gain experience within the law industry.

Joining the staff at the University of Oxford in 2005, Jonathan fulfilled many prestigious roles including the Chair of Internet Governance and Regulation and a Principle of the Oxford Internet Institute. Focusing his career on the research of the ethics and governing of artificial intelligence, he was able to develop leading strategies which allow the industry to advance the way they currently operate. An expert in his field, Jonathan has been part of multiple boards and committees throughout his successful career, including the Internet Societies board of trustees, the board of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and in 2012, he was made the Chair of Federal Communications Commission’s Open Internet Advisory committee, all roles which allowed him to educate others within the industry.

Named Young Global Leader as a Fellow of the World Economic Forum, Jonathon has become an inspiration to many throughout the tech industry, and he is now looking to speak on many different topics at speaking events worldwide.
