Henry Ajder

Henry Ajder is revered for his work at the frontier of generative AI, working tirelessly as a globally recognised advisor in the synthetic media revolution. Upon graduation from the University of Warwick with a BA in Philosophy, Henry began to foster his reputation as a comprehensive researcher working as a Communications & Government Policy Intern for Ipsos. Returning to education in 2016, Henry graduated with a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, before becoming a Strategy Analyst for Freshminds Talent, an Emerging & Internet Technologies Researcher for Nesta and the Head of Research & Threat Intelligence for Sensity. It was during his time spent at Sensity that Henry found his passion for AI and deepfakes, working at the helm of the world’s first deepfake detection company. Responsible for pioneering impactful research into deepfakes, Henry was one of the lead authors of The State Deepfakes 2019.

Since then, Henry has worked as the Head of Policy & Partnerships for Metaphysic.ai, a leading hyperreal synthetic media company that was responsible for creating Synthetic Futures. As the Lead of Synthetic Futures, Henry brought together the first industry initiative that advanced ethical synthetic media and generative AI. Other prominent roles of Henry’s have included being the Presenter of The Future Will Be Synthesised for the BBC and a member of the European Advisory Council for Meta Reality Labs. Alongside his work on the Meta Advisory Council, Henry shares his expertise on deepfakes and artificial intelligence as a revered advisor, broadcaster and speaker.
